Imagine running your finger across the skin of a dinosaur that walked the Earth 66 million years ago.

This extraordinary sterling silver necklace faithfully reproduces the authentic surface texture of an Edmontosaurus dinosaur using an impression taken from a museum-quality cast of genuine fossil dinosaur skin. Because the cast was made directly from the original fossil, every scale and texture has been preserved in remarkable detail, allowing you to experience the appearance and feel of one of the last dinosaurs to roam our planet.

The original fossil skin came from an Edmontosaurus, a duck-billed dinosaur discovered in the legendary Hell Creek Formation of North Dakota, USA. This famous fossil locality has produced some of the world's most celebrated dinosaur discoveries, including Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops and Edmontosaurus.

Adding another touch of prehistoric history, the pendant is finished with a beautifully carved Woolly Mammoth bone bead. Together, these two remarkable elements bring two very different chapters of Earth's past together in one unique piece of jewellery.

To the best of my knowledge, I have been unable to find another piece of jewellery like this available anywhere in the world. It is a truly unusual design, created for dinosaur enthusiasts, fossil collectors and anyone who loves natural history.

The pendant is individually handcrafted by me from solid sterling silver, measures approximately 3.8cm from top to bottom, and is supplied on an 18-inch sterling silver curb chain.
