This is a stunning little Baltic Amber disc pendant.

The amber cabochon is skilfully carved into a shape.
and is strung from a lovely 18 inch Solid Silver chain and comes in a stunning padded, velvet lined jewellery box.

The Amber disc measures 2cm across

The Butterscotch Amber is less common than the usual Cognac brown, but has a lovely cloudy, golden colour and is VERY pretty

The jewellery presentation has been greatly improved and as well as being presented in a labelled, velvet lined box it will sent in an embossed presentation box

This amber is Baltic Amber and would have been created about 35-40 million years ago.
It would have started life as sticky sap running down a tree in a swampy forest. This forest would have been populated with strange and magical creatures. After the time of the Dinosaurs but still an amazing time!
