This remarkable pendant features an impression taken from a high-quality cast of genuine fossil dinosaur skin. Because the cast was produced directly from the original fossil, it faithfully preserves the authentic surface texture of the dinosaur's skin, allowing you to see and even feel the same remarkable details left behind around 66 million years ago.
The original fossil skin came from an Edmontosaurus, a duck-billed dinosaur discovered in the legendary Hell Creek Formation of North Dakota, USA. This famous rock formation has produced some of the world's most spectacular dinosaur fossils, including Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, and Edmontosaurus.
The pendant is handcrafted by me in solid sterling silver, measures approximately 2.5cm from top to bottom, and is supplied on an 18-inch sterling silver curb chain.
I have searched extensively and have been unable to find another piece of jewellery like this available anywhere. To the best of my knowledge, this is one of the very few pieces of jewellery in the world that allows you to wear and feel the authentic surface texture of a dinosaur's skin.
