    I have used a long oval cabochon of fossil Coral from Indonesia and set it into a solid silver setting.
    The back of the necklace is solid silver sheet.

    The fossil coral cabochon measures 3.3cm from top to bottom and it is strung from an 18 inch sterling silver chain.

    The fossil coral is one of my favourite substances to use and is both a stunning pink and golden colour and is packed with an intricate patternation from the coral polyps.
    This is an ancient substance and roughly 20 MILLION years old!
